Einstein has landed!
Albert Einstein arrived in early fall 2013 to take a look at the new Warren J Baker center for science and math…. turns out the he liked the view so much that he decided to stay!
This bronze statue created by Gary Price was donated to Cal Poly by Paul and Sandi Bonderson, and is a fitting piece of art for the new science hub at Cal Poly, and an inspiration to all who pass: physicists, chemists, earth scientists, biologists, and engineers alike. Of course, the statue has also become a popular photo op for students and visitors, and nobody was surprised when the a bronze-painted mascot with wild hair and a humorous glint in his eye showed up to the Physics colloquium on Halloween.
